Wartburg 353W Tourist NPA Ambulance

First a big thank you to my esteemed friend kleinAPFELemma or Jan, without whose Wartburg base this vehicle could not have been created.

What is green and is blinking blue? Right, an ambulance of the National People's Army (NPA) of the GDR, comrades. It is a Wartburg 353W as a tourist version, rebuilt for use in the NPA (NVA). You recognized it directly, comrades. I tell you nothing new, comrades. Therefore, now a few technical information.

It has a powerful 3 cylinder 2-stroke engine with 50hp and reaches 100kmh / 60mp / h in 12 seconds. And with a top speed of over 130 km / h, he was also really fast on the way to the hospital. It was built in Eisenach in the former GDR between 1966 and 1989, in the former BMW plant.
