Hello, this time is the bus time.
Autosan H9 was introduced in SFA bus factory in Sanok, Poland in between 1973-2004. This legendary piece of engineering is still a common site in Eastern part of Poland, thanks to it's unkillable diesel engine built under Leyland license. This version here is modernised variant in intercity configuration (H9-21) introduced in 1980. Biggest changes were modified roof and windowline, changes to gearbox and engine. What's so quirky about this bus is the front hatch and no frame in front - this feature, while being pretty dangerous in crashes (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poland_bus_disaster_of_1994 ) allowed the bus to be rapidly converted into field ambulance, capable of carrying multiple injured.
