MiG-21PFM Fishbed-F

Built in 1968, The production version of the Ye-7M (Prototype for the PFM) was a modernised MiG-21PF, with an upgraded RP-21M radar, SRZO-2 Khrom-Nikkel IFF transponder and other changes in avionics. Further, later-production PFMs reintroduced cannon armament, in the form of the capability to carry a GSh-23 cannon and 200 rounds in an underbelly pod. Following tests in 1966, MiG-21PFM aircraft built after 1968 could carry the Kh-66 air-to-surface missile .It could maintain a cruising speed of 550mph and achieve a total speed of 1300mph with a total altitude of 50,000ft (14,000m).

Controls: (alt mode) W & S for thrust and brakes. (space bar to lock wheel brakes and air brake)

(alt mode) A & D for rudder and landing gear wheel steering.

(alt mode) Mouse or arrow keys for Pitch & Yaw

Q to fold down flaps when landing.

Landing gear doors, Landing gear & Canopy door can all be opened by switches in the cockpit using E and Q (make sure to leave 2 seconds for the gear to retract before closing the landing gear doors!)

Mouse 1 (left mouse button) to fire the 2 auto-cannons

NumPad 3 to fire the Vympel R-60 (AA-8 Aphid) Air to Air missiles

This plane loses its maneuverability as its speed increases! For the best maneuverability cruise between 200-500mph.
