DMD SD-01 Siren

SD-01, aka "Surveillance Drone 1", aka "The Siren" is an unmanned and unarmed surveillance drone, that is engineered to capture intelligence from the enemy and use it against them. It has state of the art systems including an altitude hold, a steering / roll hold and an automatic throttle governor, that will keep the aircraft stable while you snap pictures of the target with the state of the art "TARGET MARKER 5000".

This is the first creation for my new "Dood3's Military Drones" collection, which will include all kinds of unmanned military solutions. Of course these vehicles will actually be manned, because the current state of radio control in BR doesn't support RC technology in multiplayer (everything is out of sync), but at least the vehicles look like they aren't manned.

! AUTOPILOT !

YES! this UAV does in fact have a functional autopilot, that even works in multiplayer! Using It is quite simple once you've got it and it doesn't suffer from any multiplayer issues as of I know. Once in altitude hold you can adjust the climb / descent rate with (W) and (S), with (W) increasing it's climb and (S) decreasing it's climb. The autopilot also holds a stable 100km/h when (Q) is turned off, and you can have the drone maintain a stable turn by pressing (Space Bar).

Also the takeoff wheels detach automatically after takeoff without any input.

I -- Altitude/throttle hold ( ONLY activate when in stable flight, and during slight climb. Remember to turn Q off first )

Hand Brake (Space Bar) -- Steering/roll hold

X -- Landing skids
