(Legacy) Mauser MLG 27x145mm

Mauser|MLG 27x145mm The Mauser MLG is a maritime 27mm cannon. Its produced by Rheinmetall Defence and Mauser issued to the german army as shortrange defense against threats such as small boats, aircraft, and light armored targets. It fires a 27x145mm round with a velocity of 1.100m/s. The range is about >2000 meters. The max firerate is 1.700rpm. While operating the gun no crewmember is exposed to direct fire due to it beeing remote controlled like other weapons mounted on the ship. Its based on the BK 27 cannon mounted on jets like the Panavia Tornado or Eurofighter Typhoon. It is equipped with a rangefinder a daytime camera and a thermal camera which makes it usable under all weather and time conditions. It can rotate 170° to the left and right and has a elevation of 60° and depression of 15° making it able to shoot at threats very close at the ship. The ammo is carried in a box right side of the weapon system and the targeting devices and rangefinder on the left side of the system. Since 2003 FAPDS(Frangible Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot) bullets are used to give it a straighter trajectory and a higher velocity.

I made this cannon because no one made it before in Brick Rigs and because i like the cannon and wanted to replicate it as good as possible. Some stuff is different to the irl version like the firerate and horizontal rotation. I used a Nighvision instead of thermal because idk how to built thermals.

Controlls Operation mode(Alt): move turret Action 1: fire (to stop firing press Action 1 again) Q:Nighvision(quick flashing light)
