In year 2091, a full-scale Solar System colonisation begins. After the incredible amounts of before unknown minerals are found on theplanets across the system, the Earth Government holds a contest for the new mining equipment able to survive even the most severe environment conditions.
Ecron Industries becomes the winner of the passanger cart contest with its Jupiter LC-857P easily outperforming the rival models. Powered by methane, which is abundant on many planets of the Solar System, the machine almost never runs out of fuel. Extra grip, durability and small weight were credit to the cart's victory.
Jupiter was projected to suit the miners' needs, but suddenly gets popular among the people of other professions - mostly scientists - and even makes its way to the civilian market.
