Jagdpanther G1

The Jagpanther or Sd.Kfz. 173, was one of the most feared tank destroyers fielded by the Germans during WWII. following up on the tradition of converting turreted tanks into casemate variants allowed for installation of a larger gun while lowering cost. Over 400 were built from 1943-1945, although they were not numerous enough to make a difference to the war. This tank destroyer is equipped with the Pak 43/3, similar to the one on the Tiger II. Although due to Panther A hull used the reliability was questionable at best.

Two main variants were produced, the G1 and G2. The latter being the early production model, featuring Zimmerit paste and a smaller mantlet. The G2 simplified production lessening stress on German factories.

The jagdpanther ingame isn't a perfect recreation, the camoflage is semi fictional and each side has one more wheel to compensate for the smaller size of brick rigs wheels. Its also scaled to 1.3 times the original size.
