The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt is a World War II-era fighter aircraft produced by the American aerospace company Republic Aviation from 1941 through 1945. Its primary armament was eight .50-caliber machine guns, and in the fighter-bomber ground-attack role it could carry five-inch rockets or a bomb load of 2,500 lb (1,100 kg). When fully loaded, the P-47 weighed up to eight tons, making it one of the heaviest fighters of the war.

This is my THIRD attempt to make a p47-esque plane, and i think i've finally nailed it.

this took alot of time to make and test so please enjoy

Features In this model: -1:1.3 Scale (to fit Bob's weird porportions) -Full functional control surfaces -Opening Cockpit canopy -Functional Artificial Horizon -8 Machine guns in the wings, 4 per wing (for show since they suck) -Automatic cannon -Dynamic Exhaust that Automatically switches from primary exhaust to turbocharger exhaust once at high altitude -Detailed Cockpit Interior and Pratt&whittney R2800 Engine -Crosshair that is actually alligned this time -Custom Insignias and nose art -Realistic retracting landing gear with door

Controls:

to take off, pull up all the way in pitch, and throttle the engine just enough to reach ~100 mph. one in the air, you can pick up speed. if you quickly full throttle it while on the ground, the plane will nose over

Mouse: Pitch/Roll

Steering (A/D): Yaw

AuxillaryUp/Dn (PgUp/PgDn): Flaps

Throttle up/down (W/S): Throttle up/down

Brakes (S): Brakes

Disable steering (X): landing gear

Beacon (B): Indicator Lights

Hazard lights (J): Anticollision Lights

Headlights (L): Landing lights

Doors: Switch Activated

Interior Light: Switch Fire Guns: Fire1 (LMB)

Left Bomb: Fire2 (Num2)

Right Bomb: Fire3 (Num3)

Indicator lights: Beacon (B)

Wheel steering: Steering (W/S)

Open Cockpit Canopy: Aux (PGup/PGdown)
