Zis-6 Katyusha Rocket artillery by Uncle T

My take on the iconic Soviet Katysuha or Stalinorgel rocket artillery. This version is mounted on a Zis-6 lorry.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

EDIT: Added (very) approximate ranges to sight. EDIT 2: Adjusted ranges of sight to new patch.

Regular controls to drive (it's a bit top heavy so corner carefully). L/Headlights: Headlights. X/Disable steering: Tilt the rear support legs. Auxilliary/Page up/Page Down: Extend/contract support legs. Up/Down arrow: Aim up/down. Hold X/Invert steering: Lower protective shield. Fire action 1/Num 1: fire rockets. They will all fire after one click with one second intervalls. Camera 1: Sight. Camera 2: First rocket. Camera 3: Last rocket.

The rocket rack is not exactly correct but carries about the right amount of rockets and works pretty well.

To launch the rockets basically just follow the order above:

• Aim horisontally by parking in the correct direction.
• Tilt and lower support legs.
• Aim up about half-way to avoid the shield clipping.
• Lower the wind screen protection.
• Adjust elevation to aim properly.
• Fire! All rockets will fire automatically in succession.
