Me 262 Narwhal/Narwhale 1.2 by Uncle T

FOR VERSION 1.2! It's now fully made of oak and some aluminium instead of mainly foam, some oak and some aluminium and it flies pretty well albeit a little like an RC-plane.

Note that this is an eary build of mine and may not be quite up to snuff in all details. To say the least. :)

I updated the look of thecannon though. :)

My take on the Messerschmitt Me 262 bomber buster. It's an approximation, definitely not a 1:1 replica. It's armed with one 50mm automatic cannon meant for taking out allied bombers.

Alt controls to fly. W/S: Variable throttle. A/D: Ground steering/Yaw. Up/Down arrow: Pitch. Left/Right arrow: Roll. Fire action 1/Num 1: Fire X/Disable steering: Landing gear. Hold X/Invert steering: Air brakes. Space bar: Handbrake.

Notes! This was never used in battle and only 2 (AFAIK) prototypes were made, but it's too fun not to build. The gun fires up to 5 rounds in a salvo, then you need to release and press fire again. This is to somewhat simulate its very low ammo count of 20-30 rounds IRL, and also to avoid stacking even more heavy cannons in the front. :) I tried to add the swiveling front wheel which was added because of the space taken up by the huge gun, but adding a rotating actuator to the landing gear sadly made it unstable and prone to "flapping" and caused the plane to turn uncontrollably on the ground.
