NOVAKOR - X115 Daedalus

Despite not being NOVAKOR's largest tank, the Daedalus was easily it's most destructive. It was Orris's brainchild, after all. The monstrous tank could level an entire city in a matter of only a couple minutes, thanks to the gun it was equipped with. That gun, the aptly named "Finger of God", was very special. It's fire rate was somewhat slow, in comparison to other tanks at the armament's disposal. The firepower was something else. This gun posessed a very unique trait, one that made it an extreme threat to anything in its vicinity. Once the weapon was fired, that shot's area of effect would gradually increase the further it traveled.

This tank began construction after it's conception as an emergency ordinance, in case anyone as to ever get a hold of one of NOVAKOR's other superweapons. The idea was simple: A tank to end all tanks.

The origin of this tank's name is a mystery to those who aren't fortunate enough to be of high clearance, much less even knowing of the vehicle's existence. According to Orris, the name is derived from a book he had read not too long before the completion of this project. There was a man in that book. That man's name was Daedalus. Daedalus was an artificer, creating many many wonders in his time. Unfortunately, one day his creations delivered him a bitter end. Orris took that story to heart when naming the finished tank, as the tank to end all.
