Sea plane Hotel - Flying dream + interior

In 1940s Engineers at Imperial College London have come up with the design and engineering specifications for a giant futuristic flying boat. One that could carry up to 2,000 passengers. It was part of an ad campaign for Timken Roller Bearings in 1946. The first photo is a drawing by George Shepherd. Existed only on paper as concept and was not build.

If you are ever fortunate enough to see one flying, particularly some of the big ones, they were some of the most magnificent craft you've ever seen.
