here we are, after like three months of delays, 150+ hours of building, among other things. a lot has happened in that time between when i had first planned to release this, and now. lethal company blew up, verbalase did some stuff, etc. but now ive finally gotten this out. sure, it doesnt have the ML, but if i had tried to make it, then it may not have been out even by january 2025. with that said, read the description and enjoy the build.

The Saturn V (flew Apollo-11) is a retired American super heavy-lift launch vehicle developed by NASA under the Apollo program for human exploration of the Moon. The rocket was human-rated, had three stages, and was powered with liquid fuel. Flown from 1967 to 1973, it was used for nine crewed flights to the Moon, and to launch Skylab, the first American space station.

As of 2024, the Saturn V remains the only launch vehicle to have carried humans beyond low Earth orbit (LEO). Saturn V holds records for the heaviest payload launched and largest payload capacity to low Earth orbit: 311,152 lb (141,136 kg), which included the third stage and unburned propellant needed to send the Apollo command and service module and Lunar Module to the Moon.

The largest production model of the Saturn family of rockets, the Saturn V was designed under the direction of Wernher von Braun at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama; the lead contractors were Boeing, North American Aviation, Douglas Aircraft Company, and IBM. A total of 15 flight-capable vehicles were built, plus three for ground testing. Thirteen were launched from Kennedy Space Center with no loss of crew or payload. A total of 24 astronauts were launched to the Moon from Apollo 8 (December 1968) to Apollo 17 (December 1972).

The Saturn-V featured in this build is intended to follow the general design of the vehicles from Apollo-4 through Apollo-17. Some features (such as engine mounts) are not 100% accurate to their real-life counterparts, but I believe creative freedom was warranted in these areas. The vehicle is intended to be to-scale although, due to the odd scaling system of Brick Rigs, the vehicle may appear either smaller or larger than it should when compared to other things of a similar scale. The build features a full staging system, including abort cover jettisons, forward heat shield jettison, among other events. Be warned that this vehicle may teleport under the map due to a height limit imposed on the maps by Fluppi. I tried my best to prevent this by increasing the gravity turn, but to no avail.
