Full Engine Internals - EMD GP38-2 Locomotive BN

A very basic locomotive with 3 times as much parts as it really needs! Please don't try to use this in public servers 😅

IMPORTANT!!! THE DOUBLE DOORS OVER THE ENGINE MIGHT NEED TO BE OPENED AND SHUT A FEW TIMES BEFORE THEY GET SETTLED IN THE RIGHT SPOT AFTER BEING OPENED!!!!!!!

After nearly a month of work i have created the most unnecessarily detailed locomotive in this game! This is the first build i have made from the ground up in the new 1.7 experimental version.

At over 4800 bricks, almost every inch of this model is filled inside and out with piping, tanks, and mechanical stuff. I used as many resources as i could possibly find to get everything as accurate as possible, but unfortunately there just aren't too many people interested in taking photos and measurements of the back of the electrical cabinets and inside radiator ducting of this specific locomotive for me to say this is truly perfect lol. and unless someone can get me a full tour of a real locomotive ill just have to rely on limited documentation and guesswork for certain areas. I am in the middle fully labeling every part of this locomotive in a separate upload, and i will be sure to point out there which areas are just made from guesswork. Id wait to upload both at the same time, but i want to submit this to a brd contest and submissions close tomorrow so it'll be a bit later :)

This model features: -almost every door opens including cab doors, engine room doors and even battery box hatches! -fully modeled control stand with moving throttle lever and speedometer -cab interior with toilet in the nose -engine room with Roots blown EMD 16-645 prime mover, AR-10 Alternator/Generator -modeled Oil pumps, coolant tanks and filters -truck frames with brake rigging, modeled traction motors -air room with air filters and traction motor blowers -dynamic radiator fans that turn on based on engine speed -audible bell -all lights including front and rear headlights, step and rock lights, marker lights, number lights, gauge lights, and engine room lights

This is probably the only time i will ever make something like this, maybe in a few years if i still even play this game. all internal components including prime mover and cab stand have full permission to use in your builds too! i really hope you give this thing a good look around and learn a few things about how these incredible locomotives work!
