T29

The T29 Heavy Tank is an American heavy project started in March 1944 to counter the German Tiger II heavy tank. It was based on the chassis of the T26E3 Persing, featuring a lengthened hull and more frontal armor. It wasnt finished in time for the end of WW2, but it was used as a platform for testing weapons and engines for a couple years afterwards.
