SigMarine's first contribution to the city of Bricksville, this fireboat owned by the Bricksville Fire Brigade is designed for coastal and river rescue, featuring a tow hook for towing stricken boats, an adjustable ramp for rescue from the front, and two side gates with Jason's Cradle storage space.
The craft can go up to about 44 knots, and has three different control seats - one operates a rescue crane to deploy the Jason's Cradle stored on either side of the boat, one operates the boat itself, and the third one at the rear operated the water monitors mounted on the roof of the cab.
It was named Brooks, after the former deputy commissioner of the Bricksville Fire Brigade, who the current commissioner knew well and looked up to.
All instructions are provided on the displays in the wheelhouse.
