Canadair/Bombardier CL-415 'SuperScooper' firefighing plane

This Plane features a simulated re-fillable water tank for maps with water and simulated water drop effect. Simply land on water and watch the gauge in the cockpit increase. Press invert steering to drop the water. Alternatively, for use on maps without water, there is a switch on the water tank to activate infinite water mode.

Also id like to thank you to Grzybek for allowing me to use his floatplane logic for this build, and helping me with a few adjustments! this plane would not be possible without it. The flight computer was originally created by RiskyDuckling13.

This build is another very logic heavy build, with grzy's floatplane controls combined with the water fill and flight controls i added give this plane over 100 sensors, switches, and math bricks, which is certaily more than i've done in the past

The Canadair/Bombardier CL-415 'Super Scooper' is a large amphibious flying boat airplane designed for aerial firefighting and marine search and rescue. the plane by Canadair starting 1994, later by Bombardier after they bought Canadair, and recently in 2022 by VikingAir.

The CL-415 was based on the older CL-215, the first successful amphibious waterbomber aircraft. The 215 was introduced in 1960 and powered by radial piston engines, but after a CL215 turboprop retrofit program proved successful, Canadair ceased production of the 215 and started designing an improved turboprop powered version of the plane to replace it. The new CL-415 had improved aerodynamics, increased water tank capacity, added winglets and tail fins for increased stability, and updated the cockpit and avionics.

The CL-415 features a 1,400 gallon (6100L) water tank that can be filled by skimming over any body of water, a massive advantage for turnaround time between drops, making it very popular with forest firefighters. It also sees significant use in marine search and rescue, allowing it to see service and save lives even outside of fire season.

9 countries currently operate the type, with several more having placed orders. Due to the extreme inherent risk involved in aerial firefighting and water landings, the CL-415 has a high accident rate, with 14 out of 95 built suffering complete hull loss due to crashes. Despite this, the Superscooper is highly praised by crews for it's ruggedness and flight characteristics.
