Floating Base - Armed Offshore Platform by Uncle T

I got bored so built a Floating Base or Armed Offshore Platform which can be used for zombie RP, as an evil lair, a military installation, a rebel base etc.

As always this has been thoroughly tested in single-player games at 120+ FPS, but there are no guarantees whatsoever for how it will behave at lower FPS or in multi-player with ping issues.

It is pretty well armed but vulnerable against high altitude and/or high speed air attacks since the game's heat seeking missiles are too slow to catch anything faster than a helicopter or propeller plane, and I have no energy or interest in building my own self-guided missiles. If you want to add some be my guest.

It is very sparesly decorated on the inside to save bricks, but here are a few beds and seats Bob can use even if they're mostly for show, and a few rooms I left empty.

Lighting is also sparse to save bricks but all inside areas can be lit up, and the heli pad, top deck and the lower loading dock can also be lit up with flood lights..

Spawn it in deep water, let it settle, then it's probably wise to soft pin it at the correct level. It is balanced enough to carry a helicopter on the landing pad etc but soft pinning helps with the "floating actuators" issue that sadly still is a bit of a thing.

CONTROLS Main Seat/Driver's Seat. Soft pin (U) is recommended once the platform stops bobbing up and down. It's not necessary but will prevent the "floating actuators" issue. Alt + Arrow Keys / Mouse: Aim Laser Guided Missile. B / Beacon: Turn on laser. Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire. Camera 1: Missile Sight. Position lights are turned on with button on the control panel in front of the main seat.

Top Deck Weapons Systems The 8 different top deck weapons system (4 x automatic cannons, 2 x automatic heat seeking missile launchers and 2 x gatling guns) are all controlled from the respective seats in the command tower. Alt + Arrow Keys / Mouse: Aim Weapon. Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire. Camera 1: Weapon Sight.

Cranes A/D / Steering: Rotate. W/S / Throttle:Lower/Raise Crane. Up/Down Arrow Keys: Winch up/down. B / Beacon: Spotlight. Camera 1: Winch view.

Savage (Unmanned Surface Vehicles) The two Savages are controlled from the respective laptops on the top deck. W: Launch W/S / Throttle: Throttle. A/D / Steering: Steering. Reduce speed for tighter turns. B / Beacon: Activate the proximity sensors and arm the warhead. Left/Right Arrow Keys. Rotate camera. Camera 1: Vehicle view.

Escape Pods

• Get in the seat.
• Press the button on the dashboard, and off you go.

All lights and the loading dock elevator are operated by buttons nearby.
