Stroma-9 Floating Oil Rig [Read Desc.]

A large project I was working on for a while, started way back when the game Still Wakes the Deep was announced

As usual I left it for a while but today it finally sees light on the workshop.

Yea It's a bit bricky, but if you were expecting less than 3k bricks, there are other simple oil rigs on the workshop that can do that for you, this is for people who enjoy detail and immersion

With many rooms and departments to checkout, hiding spots are numerous

Main Areas: Mud Handling Crane Operation Civil Quarters Drill Management [Drilling Derrick] Container Housing Pump Deck Flare Tower Wash Room Rig Management

Secondary Areas: Diving Pods Heli-Pad Radar Platform Salt Water Management Container Drop off Drill Assembly Under-Rig Storage Barrel Stowage

Controls: PLEASE SPAWN PINNED [NOT FULL PINNED THOUGH] EVERY Area has a range of switches to turn lights on and off You can find switches everywhere, often labelled if they have additional function.

[X] = Turn on all Lights + Heli pad + Flare Tower + Heli Pad Beacon

Crane Controls: Make sure the crane is lined up with the platform next to it and that the Small Ladder is lowered before entering!

[Page Up/Down] = Arm Up/Down

= Hook Extension [A/D] = Left and Right

Diving Bell Operation: First, connect up the lowering ropes to the pod Then, Detatch the coupling letting it free dangle Lower the Pod to whatever height you want using the switches next to each.

Reverse steps to stow the Pods

Or skip the first step and HellDive into the water

Themed in Scotland, inspiration from Beira-D From Still Wakes the Deep [GO AN PLAY IT] While no explosives are present, feel free to just nuke it with an old fashioned bomb, BUT BE WARNED, at 18k+ Bricks, be careful to not explode your PC.

It is 100% a unique design, I went totally free form improvisation, and it is not directly based on any real Oil Rig, except for simply looking up parts of oil rigs to get it vaguely correct in areas.

Took around 100 hours of work, so be appreciative, and I might be able to update and add small things to the Stroma-9 if you ask politely, and keep in mind Brick Count.
