A submarine based on the "Nautilus" from Disney's video adaptation of "20000 Leagues Under the Sea" written by the master Jules Verne.
I made this project using several fan cross-sections that I found on the internet, and scenes from the movie.
I tried to do it as accurately as possible, unfortunately there are no giant squids on Europa, but molochs, mudraptors and husks, so I had to arm it slightly better than the original (however, all guns are retractable or hidden when not in use).
My version of the Nautilus features:
- one double coilgun at the top.
- a retractable railgun and double coilgun at the bottom,
- a depth charge tube,
- discharger defence system,
- a powerful ram,
- a shuttle in place of the original's rowboat.
Only the auxiliary engines are maintained by the nav console, and they are rather weak compared to main one, which has to be operated manually, so a decent crew is important. There is an engine telegraph in engineering for easier communication.
Like in all my projects it was my intention to make this sub difficult and unbalanced. Have fun.
