A 1:1 scale replica of the USS X-1 Midget Submarine retrofitted with coilguns, a railgun, and a nuclear reactor to be more suited for operations in Europa.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Crew: The boat can be operated by a single experienced captain, optimal is 4 members.
Power Management: Only the battery cell that is NOT in use will be charged by the reactor, you can turn off both cells to charge them both at the same time. The Engine and Ballast pumps are powered directly by the reactor so make sure it is always fueled to prevent losing control of the boat, the lights in the control room will indicate if there is power or just look at the reactor itself.
Navigation: Use the docking lever above the engine/ballast indicator lights to dock or undock, use the navigation console to steer the ship and control the aft ballast tank for sudden depth changes/"crash dives" (Using aft ballast tank will make you dive faster). Launch controls for depth charges can also be found here.
Observation Periscope: Located above the navigation panel, use LMB to switch between deck and keel views.
Free Flood Tank (Sort of): There is also a free flood tank which can also boost dive speed. (Its no longer free flood since I put in controls for gameplay purposes)
Guns: The boat is armed with 2 coilguns (one deck and one keel) and a single railgun. They will automatically recharge when needed, you can adjust the recharge rate of the supercapacitor manually inside the electrical room to prevent losing power on other devices.
Escape Hatch: Has a simulated "moonpool" so I recommend using this when doing diving activities, just be sure to park the boat properly.
Repair & Maintenance: The electrical room can be accessed by a button under the explosives cabinet, and the main & aft ballast pumps can also be accessed by buttons to open access hatches to them.
