Phalanx

The Phalanx is a well armored submarine that features an armament comparable to that of the Typhon class submarines. Along with this is an automatic electrical discharge coil system and a shuttle for those hard to reach places. This however comes with its cons and the submarine is quite slow as a result of being able to fulfill so many different niches. This terrible maneuverability can be remedied however as long as upgrades are provided.

The Phoenix shuttle that comes along with this submarine is rather small and nimble. This shuttle also comes with a coilgun mounted on the front for either self defense or fire support. Although it has a limited battery capacity, it makes up for this by being able to hibernate when the shuttle is needed once more.

Features include...

• Detailed but simple command room that provides adequate information such as reactor temperature, battery lifespan.
• Security is home like with a weapon display case for those weapons you might cherish the most.
• Medical contains agricultural supplies.
• Shuttle
• Engineering should be relatively easy to be maintained with the fair amount of electrical and mechanic devices.
• Spaced double layer armor means extra protection.
• Automatic electrical discharge coil defense system that only goes off in the presence of dangerous creatures.
• Navigation is battery powered in case of any power outages. This combined with the ability to turn off the exterior lights however could mean an opportunity for stealth...

Some cons too however are...

• Rather bad maneuverability due to its bulky nature. Despite how well armored the ship is, don't expect to outrun many creatures.
• The automatic electrical discharge coil defense system requires time to recharge, presenting an opportunity to strike for creatures.

Both of the listed cons might seem dissuading at first, but with campaign upgrades these flaws could eventually be remedied or benefited from.
