The Cutter

In Game Description: In an attempt to cut costs from losing submarines to rookie crews, the Europa Coalition designed The Cutter. It is compact in size but fully stocked with weapons, equipment, and raw materials. Some larger subs even use The Cutter as a shuttle or escape sub should the worst happen. Crews often complain of cramped and cluttered conditions, but those who take their time to familiarize themselves with the interior will find The Cutter to be a small sub capable of withstanding the dangers of Europa.

The Cutter is my own sub I designed for small crews, mainly small friend groups who like to play together. One or two people can comfortably play on this sub, but anything more than 4-5 will likely get even more cramped and cluttered. I found a few small subs similar to this, but not quite to my own tastes. I took heavy inspiration from the IMC Rake by Steam user Blacklight. I created the sub from scratch, but you'll notice many similar design choices where I admittedly just lifted the ideas from. It's a good sub with good visual design, arguably better visually than mine. I recommend you check it out and see which one you prefer.

Features: -Compact but cluttered by design. It has everything you need and a fair bit of storage, but since everything is grouped so closely together, there is little breathing room. Be sure you remain calm in a crisis or you may pay the price.

-Single Junction Box with backup Batteries. If the box goes down, everything else will too, so be sure to keep that thing up at all costs. If the reactor goes down, there is also a switch to turn on the 3 batteries to provide emergency power for a fair amount of time as you get a replacement rod or the reactor fixed

-Every weapon type. You have a railgun up top, a depth charge on the bottom, and a coilgun mounted on the front. There's even a discharge coil. This will allow you to take on just about everything...if you can survive. Your backside and the bottom left of the sub are most vulnerable due to blind spots.

To make the most out of this sub, you'll need to be wary of whatever might be after you. Due to its small size, a single leak can result in you sinking. Best be on your toes.
