Lamprey MKII

The Lamprey MKI has been completely redesigned from scratch by the Coalition. It has been made to fulfill the same purpose, as well similar design aesthetic in mind. The MKII boasts many more features, is more reliable, packs much more firepower, and has enough storage for long campaigns. This is one the Coalitions best ships for dangerous dive missions, as well as general combat. There are many features, and only a few disadvantages.

Features:

• There are numerous buttons and readouts by navigation, including battery control, battery recharge control, reactor temp. readouts, light control, etc.
• She's still fast! Although not able to hit 70km/h, she can still get above 50km/h. This can be seen as a disadvantage if your captain is inexperienced.
• Labels and more labels! Junction boxes and button controls are clearly labeled. Most components and wires are visible and organized, making it easier to understand and modify.
• Lots of storage for a ship of this size. There are seven crate shelves and a fair number of cabinets. Also, ballasts and ceiling areas have been utilized.
• Very little blind spots with four coilguns and one railgun.
• Double Ammo! Reload less often with the double coilgun/railgun loaders
• The area outside of airlock is well-lit and covered by coilguns to ensure your dive team is safe.
• Well stocked for just about any mission (especially combat).
• Fabricator and deconstructor in engineering, as well as a medical fabricator and a second deconstructor in medical. Watch your power consumption!
• Recommended for hellish difficulty or long campaigns.

Watch out for...

-Because of the extra features, firepower, and powerful engine, she is expensive for her size at 15,000 marks.

• Your own crew! Because this is a ship designed for a tight-knit military team, there is very little interpersonal security. Weapons are easily accessed.
• Shooting your own ship. Coilgun fire range is very wide for dive support.
• Large rooms. Hull breaches can become disastrous.
• Reloading will take time. The periscopes, turret loaders, and turret ammo are all in separate (but nearby) rooms. It may be wise to have an assistant aid in reloads.
• She's hungry! You will find yourself changing fuel rods often
