Altara Station is a modification of Neptune Station marketed to an Europan-based corporation known as "Altara." Its specifications were quite interesting, but were executed nonetheless. They include removing the station's mobility, trimming out all unnecessary weight, and adding some areas and communications arrays. EK weaponry bolsters the station's once neglected arsenal and, coupled with a giant Entrance Zone door, makes the station more formidable in the security sense. Its R-29 was swapped out for a brand-new Argus V, proving the model's marketability and hopefully generating more use of the new submarine to recoup the R&D losses on the first four models.

Later versions of "Altara Station" have reduced the profile of the prison and gained a focus towards relaxation for the crew due to high stress and reports of mutinies. Other security measures such as exterior guns, fewer illegal devices lying around, and making doors resistant to crowbar intrusions are among the methods we used to make Altara-Neptune Station a safer place for our workers.
