Botanical Cargo Transport

(NOTE: This Vessel Looks Much Larger Than It Is. It is actually on the small to medium size.)

The IMC Botanus is a mobile micro botanical research facility. Featuring a large hydroponics bay and significant power distribution room the Botanus is capable of self-sustainability through trade. The immense power grid supports a twin engine system that is coupled with an oversized ballast to produce excellent mobility.

While being highly maneuverable the Botanus also boasts an impressive automated self defense system and a huge field of fire from surround pulse laser turrets.

Features

Conventional Power Distribution

(Starts with Battery Power Off) The Botanus is powered primarily by nuclear reactor with a battery reserve power.

Manual Cotrol Doors & Hatches

Almost all of the doors and hatches on the Botanus are manually controlled.

Large Hydroponics Bay

The Botanus's primary feature is the large upper hydroponics bay. With plenty of room to grow for supply and profit with more than enough dedicated storage. The hydroponics bay also features a large glass viewing dome that is protected with the automated defenses.

Auto-Discharge Ring

Automated self powered discharge coils are connected to motions sensors around the vessel. When triggered the discharge coils will fire in a clockwise delayed blast pattern, providing maximum surround protection. The automated defenses can be disabled from the navigation console.

High Mobility Design

Despite its appearance the Botanus is an extremely maneuverable vessel. Its massive power supply supports two large engines for fast course corrections or rapid response tactics. The large ballast tank can keep the vessel afloat under moderate damage. In my campaign testing I have yet to sink it once.

Remote Control Shuttle

The Botanus features the new MK II BUZZARD combat shuttle which can be remotely controlled from the drone bay near hydroponics. Assume control of the shuttle to force a return or send it to support your crew.

IMC BUZZARD MK II Combat Shuttle (NUCLEAR ARMED)

Pick the bones of your enemy clean with the IMC BUZZARD SHUTTLE! This little baby is fast and hard hitting. An overall upgrade to the Predator shuttle. With an extended power supply, a nose mounted pulse laser and a NUCLEAR depth charge you can make bombing runs from your favorite carrier and take out husk subs while keeping your main sub safe.
