The IMC GUARDIAN

Armored Combat Cruiser

(NOTE: This Vessel Looks Much Larger Than It Is. It is actually on the small to medium size.)

The IMC Guardian is a starter armored combat cruiser designed to protect the valuable European trade routes. This vessel is designed for a fully immersive experience with gunnery cabins, armored bilges, external repairs and a split level floor-plan. I had a lot of fun making and testing this sub. I hope you enjoy the challenge and benefits.

Defenses:

18 Armored Exterior Ballast Enforced Compartments Defensive drain armor prevents flooding of internal cabins from initial damage. Once repaired the armor compartments will drain on their own. May require external repairs.

Dedicated Gunnery Cabins

5 dedicated gunnery cabins surround the vessel. Each gunnery cabin contains an ammo shelf, weapon loader, periscope, sonar, system monitor, emergency lighting and active lighting.

Reactive Armor

The Guardian features surround armor that drains automatically when repaired. Fully repairing armor will require external repairs. While the armor greatly assists with the protection of the vessel interior, if left un-repaired it can affect ship maneuverability. The reactive armor compartments will display on the system monitor. Two(2) breached armor compartments will cause the vessel to lose vertical movement. Four(4) or more breached armor compartments will cause the vessel to slowly sink.

High Mobility Design

The Guardian boasts two high powered engines that support rapid changes in velocity and direction. Two oversized ballasts allow for deep diving and damage absorbtion. This movement potential allows the guardian to stay mobile while bearing heavy firepower upon its enemies from all directions.

This small rapid lander shuttle features a custom "forward decor" design to give an interior feel. Featuring a coilgun, ammo shelf, navigation, system monitor, refillable suit locker, large storage cabinet, battery display, high visibility and auto on/off docking. Both O2 and pumps are powered when docked.
