The 'Igor'

"Lacking a Europan Coalition designation, Seperatists and Clowns alike have labeled this updated Science Vessel the "Igor" for its "Hunched back, gaping maw and beady eye." The Igor has only recently been added to the market, with no explanation by the Coalition beyond that is equipped for research expeditions and ready to be purchased. The Igor comes with a pilotable shuttle meant for expeditions through cave systems: the Naucrates."

Summary

The Igor is a vanilla-like sub with defining features, meant to be distinct from the vanilla experience while also adding to it. The Igor is a deep diver, exploratory vessel, anonymously added to the market by the Europan Coalition. separatists say this is a big conspiracy for the Coalition to catch anyone wanting to explore the depths and take them out with sabotaged ships, while most Captains and Crews ( as well as research teams) expect that the Europan Coalition no longer found use for the vessel, as their grasp turns to a more authoritarian control.

Featuring a Shuttle, recharging oxygen racks and features meant to keep the ship running and operational in even the harshest climates, Igor has more to offer than its ragged shape lets on.

Naucrates

Just like its namesake, the Naucrates is a lover, not a fighter. Featuring no onboard weapons, the Naucrates operates as a forward research and exploration vessel, meant to go into the gaps the rotund Igor isn't able to research. Perfect for bringing teams to juicy minerals, the Naucrates sinks like a rock when its airlock is opened. Since it opens from the top, this means the shuttle is meant to be either docked or grounded before the crew exits. While it has one suit, more can easily be dumped in if you are to use it exclusively (though it's recommended that you wear your suits at all times since there's no armaments on it and it can fall fast and hard.)

Features

The Igor features as such:

• Large Ballasts. Featuring some of the largest ballasts-to-ship ratios on the moon, The Igor features enough pumps to sink and rise quickly, though captains must be mindful of how fast this vessel can drop.

• Nice Views. With Windows both to the top, rear, and front, the Igor allows researchers to see the beauty Europa has to offer. Or, its horrors.

• The Naucrates. The shuttle attached to the Igor easily allows for mining and exploration, without the risk of destroying the submarine. likewise, it features great storage for its size.

• Research Station. No Research Submarine can claim the title without a place to research! The Igor features a full table for scientists and aspiring researchers alike to study the materials of Europa, with plenty of space to store said research.

• Three Docking Ports With three docking ports, the Igor can have the Naucrates, another shuttle, and be docked to a station, all at the same time! This allows for steadying yourself when fixing outposts, or quick looting of destroyed submarines. After all, the Igor isn't named for its royal attitude.

• And More! With some rooms having high pressure detection, Mineral scanners on both vessels, changing periscopes for the captain, and a quick and easy ways of having the batteries recharge, the Igor has it all!

With some nice success on the Matilda (having gone through an entire campaign with it,) I decided to make another sub! This one was a lot quicker than the previous one, and I certainly had fun making it, and I hope you enjoy playing with it! If you haven't noticed, my ships are now designed with "(SE)" in the menus. This is intentional, as its meant to group the submarines I've designed, and order them accordingly. This is also a confirmation that more ships will come in time! the SE stands for "Submarines Expanded," with the goal of making ships that are meant to fit in each of the games defined categories. This means that a Scout ship with a smaller crew limit than the Matilda and Igor, and a Transport ship will come in the future!
