Moloch Milk

This mod adds to the game that what players have been wanting for a long time: Moloch Milk. The liquid item giving slight, long-lasting buffs in a well polished mod based on the Barotrauma lore. Includes a number of new gameplay mechanics to obtain the milk, since the only best way to drink milk is by getting it fresh from the source.

The milk can be sold for cash money or used for crafting medical items. Tanks can also fill any slot that usually takes oxygen or welding tanks, which may lead to some comical side effects.

Some warning notes:

• Do not inhale the milk

• Do not drink all the milk at once

• Check the best before date before drinking the milk

• Do not forget to juice up the assistant with anaparalysant and/or alcohol before attempting to milk the Moloch

• This mod was made in advance in the faction test branch, but it should be compatible with 1.0.

• If you find some MP sync issues, do let me know so I can fix them.

Future additions

If there's demand for it, I will extend the mod to include more items, including:

• More food items, such as Moloch Cheese

  • Can be aged on an aging shelf

  • Longer lasting/stronger buffs

  • Multiple recepies with different ingredients for different effects

• A Chef Job

  • Includes a cheesemaking outfit

  • Talents to unlock the recepies or other perks, depending on what's possible

• Milk related decorative items

  • A few decals for in the sub editor

Compatibility

This mod overrides a number of things, namely: Humans (for the moustache), Molochs, and all items that take welding fuel/oxygen tanks for compatibility with milk tanks. It will be compatible with most mods, as long as you make those mods override this mod. You may lose some functionalitty on certain items if they are overridden by those mods.

Spin-off mods and translations

• If you wish to make a translation of this mod, have a look at (https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2667952918/3828662280421422758/). There's a thread there for translators, if you list your mod there I can give you a heads-up if it's updated

• Don't even think about involving humans in this mod's mechanics. Especially not in relation to those anime mods. Thank you
