BERTHA
Bertha is an old scout vessel series which has served it's purpose and was supposed to be scrapped for parts. However some vessels may have escaped their demise and still roam under the ice of europa to this day.
Features
4 Variants: Bertha Submarines contains the original Bertha vessel but also includes a clean variant called SS-Bertha, a pirate variant to encounter during pirate missions aswell as a wreck variant.
Cost: The submarines itself are completely vanilla and are cheap enough to be starter submarines. Bertha will be available for 7225mk however SS-Bertha costs 8500mk leaving you with exactly 0mk left to spend on supplies if you choose her as a starter. So better go and earn some money right away!
Missions (Moved to different mod): Originally included was a pirate version with a pirate mission to fight against it, however I moved this feature over to Pirates Ahoy!
Speed: All specifications are without upgrades: Horizontal top speed: 27 km/h Vertical top speed descending: 20 km/h Vertical top speed ascending: 18 km/h
AI: Since the Rising Tide update, the AI may get stuck inside the corners of the bottom ballast while trying to repair the hull. If you notice this, you need to repair the hull the AI is trying to reach to fix it. The AI likes to flick the switches on the airlock. Maybe keep an eye on them while they're repairing stuff there.

Bertha has trouble with her power mainline by default and is supposed to be improved with upgrades. Going full throttle and abrupt no throttle might quickly cause a fire and leave her without power. Lights will flicker for a few seconds when starting up her reactor. She also doesn't come with built-in flood or fire detection so keep your crew busy and let them check for small holes or fires!
Bertha has plenty of room for you to grow plants or place more items like fabricators and such, if you play with RIBA
