Advanced Headsets

This mod adds craftable items that are combinations of the thermal goggles, health scanner HUD, headset, and auto-injector headset. The idea is that this way, you can gain the benefit of wearing thermal goggles or the health scanner HUD without having to give up the style of wearing a cool hat. Also works well with mods such as Saber Personal Protection that add suit helmets as a hat item.

In detail, this mod adds 4 new items, all craftable at the fabricator: Thermal Headset: A normal headset that grants thermal vision just like the thermal goggles. Crafted with thermal goggles + headset. Item name: thermheadset Scanner Headset: A normal headset, plus the health scanner HUD. Crafted with Health Scanner HUD + headset. Item name: scanheadset Tactical Headset: An auto-injector headset, plus thermal vision. Crafted with thermal goggles + auto-injector headset. Item name: tacheadset Medical Headset: An auto-injector headset, plus the health scanner HUD. Crafted with Health Scanner HUD + auto-injector headset. Item name: medheadset

Headset functions in the Tactical Headset and Medical Headset require a battery to work, I thought it was weird that they removed that function.

This mod is an updated version of my previous mod Medical Headset. I have separated this mod from that one to ensure compatibility with save files and such.
