Description

A crew that can offset the fuel-hungry reactor and the relatively exposed ballast will be able to achieve much.

How to play

Die Königin is a large sub with excellent potential: lots of firepower on all sides, great ballast flow, all sorts of on board facilities, a recon drone and evacuation shuttle for added versatility and a battery array taking care of any energy fluctuation.

Be wary that the reactor consumes fuel rods 50% faster than normal, making the vessel particularly fuel-intensive, something to consider since its speed is relatively low; the 4 pumps present in the underside ballast can quickly fill up or drain water for vertical movement, drammatically improving manouverability. Remember to make use of the doors whenever the sub is flooded, allowing the aforementioned pumps to help with the situation.

While the sub features a high amount of weapons, a lot of areas must be covered by installing guns on the existing hardpoints; the lower ballast in particular can be a rather troublesome blindspot before its dedicated hardpoint gets its weapon, requiring good coordination between gunnery and command.
