Aspiring medical expansion mod. Made for Unstable version, but works perfectly fine in Stable, apart from some affliction desc issues.

Lung damage, in essense, is how good you are at breathing. Receiving direct damage to the Torso is highly likely to cause a random amount of Lung Damage. As long as the percentage is below 100%, you'll be mostly fine. But if it reaches this threshold, it changes phase. From this point on, it will slowly creep up to 200%, and you'll have difficulty regaining oxygen. Drowning is much easier as well. From 100% to 200%, it's 1 collapsed lung. Once it reaches 200%, both of your lungs will collapse, and unless treated, you WILL suffocate. The only treatment for now is Stabilozine, but I plan to change that.

Cardiac Arrests have a high chance of happening when at low health and having blood missing. Damage to the torso under these conditions has a very high chance of causing Cardiac Arrest. It's not immediately lethal, but it will prevent your health from going into the positives, and will slowly cause Hypoxia: An untreatable, but quickly healed affliction. In order to come back from a Cardiac Arrest, CPR and frequent Adrenaline injections will be needed. Injecting max Adrenaline (100%) into the patient is enough to revert a cardiac arrest, given enough time. Stabilozine prevents Hypoxia from building up, so it is also recommended.

Haemorrhage occurs when a leg or an arm is damaged at very high bleeding values. If untreated, it will become more and more difficult to remove over time, and will constantly apply bleeding to the limb it is on. As long as you can keep the Bleeding under control, it will eventually go away on its own. Use Stabilozine to stop the advance, and consider Tourniquets as a faster and more powerful treatment.
