IMPORTANT! This sub has custom made permissions for everything and gives them out individually for every class on spawn. To update them after switching from any sub outside of "Skat-M" line, you just need to leave the station.

"The "middle child" in the "Skat-M" line, the "Bat Ray" is a medium-sized exploration submarine.

Designed to operate on the fringes of human occupied waters with minimal resupply stops, it has the ability to go ultra quiet and utilise its array of ultrasonic terrain sensors to sneak by any threat undetected."

The four cornerstones of the Skat-M line are: Redundancy, Ease of Use, Crew Safety and Effective Space Utilisation.

Smart, effective and quiet. The Bat Ray is built to not just explore, but live in the sea. It can be operated without sonar, using a suite of 360° Terrain Proximity Sensors. It's large cargo capacity, Mineral scanner, Deconstructor, Medical and Mecahnical fabricators allow it to operate purely on stockpiled and scavenged resources for as long as it's crew can.
