The Legionar is a small attack class submarine designed for the coalition and tasked with hunting private vessels, laying siege to rebellious stations or just blowing a large hole into whatever is causing trouble. In order to pack this much firepower into such a small hull, the designers removed the rotary mechanisms from the standard coalition railguns, and mounted the barrels directly to the hull. This allowed the designers to fit 3 railguns facing forward, and one rearward, with the trade off being the fixed nature of the weapons which now effectively acted like torpedos.

The Legionar was not only designed to pack a punch, but to also take one too. As using the primary weapons requires the sub to aim directly towards its target, the designers implemented a large steel armour plate on bot the front and rear of the vessel. The legionar is also equipped with the emergency control system found on the Centurion class heavy transport. This system includes the following.

• Lockdown of all doors and hatches within 10seconds of flooding.

• Lockdown of all doors and hatches as well as disabling the oxygen generator. (Thus starving the fire of air)

• Instant lockdown of all door and hatches when intruder is detected.

• Shutdown of reactor if meltdown lasts longer than 10 seconds.

• Ballast: The Legionar has 1 main Ballast tank and 2 smaller multifunction bilge/ballast systems. Each is equiped with a local shutoff switch to allow the crew to deal with “ballast flora”. The sub is able to operate relying entirely on the main ballast, or without the main ballast (however this require the captain to operate the airlock from the bridge and use it as a makeshift ballast.
