The Cum Beast

A miserable creature, born to suffer and cursed to live. The beast deserves nothing, but who knows- treat it well and you might gain its respect. If you still wish to take on this burden I shall share my knowledge of it.

Like the other eggs you may have encountered, the beast may be brought into this world by use of saline on the Homunculus Seed. Remnants of this failed experiment may be found in the wreckage of ships, or at research stations beyond the Cold Caverns. The creature's preferred food source is corpses- any kind will do. If you can't acquire any fresh meat, it will also dine on the same foods as a Psilotoad (Pet food type 2), though it will gain little happiness or nutrition from these foods. Note: The beast LOVES eating meth, but do show some restraint, as it does make it hungrier. Note*: Attempts to dispatch the beast may prove difficult; the thing is strangely resilient. It is mortal, but has proven able to shrug off more than a few stray bullets. And one more thing. If you can manage keep the beast in high spirits, it will secrete opium from time to time (though it may secrete something less appealing on occasion).

This is a standalone version of the ship pet from the Funnier Teeth, so as such, this mod is incompatible with the Funnier Teeth mod. This mod overrides meth (for ai pathing), so put it lower in the load order than anything else that overrides meth. The beast won't be able to detect meth but everything other than that should work.
