the osmiri is a submarine that has been fitted with hydroelectric generator instead of a reactor

originally created for beacon station maintenance workers, the submarine can generate and store large amounts of electricity with a standalone generator, allowing it to sit idle for months at a time without relying on the power of a fuel rod

although capable of normal travel, the osmiri's main engine is not capable of being operated at the same time as the generator and thus may need to stop midway through a journey to recharge its batteries

generator control

valve control lever: changes the position of the valve at the top of the water duct to allow water to flow into the generator

turbine control button: toggles the turbines ability to spin and thus power generation

water must be flowing for the generator to be capable of producing electricity

only the auxiliary engine is capable of function while the generator is active

flood indicator light: alerts an operator if the water duct is flooded

if there is more water entering the duct than the generator is capable of expelling (such as in the event of a hull breach), then it will be unable to produce electricity
