to acquire: Use the regular scooter continuously in ballast flora spores for about 15-20 seconds.
to acquire (technical): The regular scooter's condition degrades over time while being used in ballast flora spores. While not being used, its condition slowly goes back to 100%. In the context of Derelicts' spore thalamus wrecks, this means you can use the scooter in 15-20 second bursts, with 15-20 second pauses in between bursts. Whether or not this makes for "fun gameplay" is up for debate.
modding compatibility notes:
- incompatible with anything that overrides underwaterscooter (pet won't be able to spawn)
- underwaterscooterpet is allergic to batteries overridden by other mods (it won't eat them)
- place above derelicts for compatibility with thalamus spores
