"They built her some 40 years ago, back when the Coalition was just born from the sparse settlements in the broader anarchy of Europa. Scientists needed a way to explore this place and carry their labs around without getting crushed by a Hammerhead or blown up by a pirate in the process. That's why she looks all wonky like that! It was to reflect active sonar in just the right way to remain hidden, but sonar technology improved since then.

Anyways, the frontier in exploration moved deeper since. Hell, we're already starting to touch the ocean floor, those aren't really pressures she could handle anymore, so they decommissioned her and sold the remaining subs to low-tier shipyards in remote shithole colonies, yours truly. We refitted her a bit, got rid of the old labs and replaced them with a cargo bay to make her useful at something, ripped out the wiring in the decrepit stealth mode, but we left the reactor largely intact. It's one of those old overdesigned fusion reactors, hallmark of the early Coalition days, when they were too scared of fission and just ran of diesel, hah. Good luck getting fuel for that, though.

Is it a good ship? Not at all. The guns got barely any coverage, and the autopilot renders them unusable, small leaks can send her plunging down, and if you wanna make it out of that tin can alive you turn that sonar off and let the shitty autopilot do its business. Listen: If you want a reason to buy it, it costs the same as a Barsuk and it isn't a Barsuk -- gotta count your blessings, y'know? If you're some rookie who just got their piloting license, this is a decent sub to start with. It's the only hunk of scrap you can get with a fabricator on it. How's that sound?"

"La armaron hace como 40 años. En ese entonces, la Coalición recíen habia nacido de los poquitos asentamientos que quedaban en el medio de toda la anarquia que era Europa en ese momento. Los cientificos querian ir y explorar y llevar todo el equipamiento y los laboratorios, eso sin quedar hechos pelota por una banda de piratas o un Moloc cualquiera. De ahi viene que se ve así, es para, como, reflectar el sonar de la forma justa, y que se yo, pero la tecnologia ya avanzo de esos tiempos, te van a detectar igual.

De aquel entonces, la frontera avanzo a la profundidad. Ya estamos tocando el fondo, viste. ¿Te imaginas que esta lata pueda soportar estar ahi? La sacaron de servicio, algunas las desmantelaron, otras las vendieron a astilleros de cuarta en la loma del ojete, como acá. La reacondicionamos un poquito, reemplazamos los viejos laboratorios con una bodega de carga, asi sirve para algo; arrancamos los cables de los sistemas de sigilo, ya que estaban en mal estado; pero dejamos el reactor bastante intacto. Es uno de esos reactores de fusion, bien de la temprana epoca de la Coalición, cuando le tenian miedo a que haya un Chernobíl pero justo se les termino la nafta. Buena suerte consiguiendote combustible para esto, igual, jaja.

Es una buena nave? Na, ni a palos. Los cañones no te cubren ni el orto, son inusables si tenes el autopiloto prendido, y ojo, lo vas a tener prendido; una fuga cualquiera y te vas al abismo. Te digo, no toques el sonar y deja que ese autopiloto de mierda haga su cosa. Mira, ¿queres una razón para comprar esto? Aca hay una: Cuesta lo mismo que un Barsuk, y no es Barsuk, eso deberia ser suficiente. Si sos un novato cualquiera que acaba de salir de la facultad de pilotaje, este submarino esta bien para empezar, total te conseguis otro cuando tengas dos marcos a tu nombre. Encima, ojo, es la unica chatarra que te podes conseguir por este precio que tenga un fabricador encima. Pues, ¿que te parece?
