This is a quality of life mod that lets you see a motion detector's range. It just shows up as a simple box drawn over your game world. Just click on the motion detector and it shows up automatically. Its similar to how it works in the sub editor, or with electrician's goggles. This makes it way easier to set up motion detectors mid campaign.
You would have thought this would be the default, but here we are.
This is a clientside mod and will work on any server, even vanilla. Only you can see the box that pops up.
If you find any bugs please comment them below. Screenshots of the red error text in the console are very helpful.
This mod requires clientside Lua for Barotrauma to work.
Installing Client-side Lua:
Open hosting menu Select LuaForBarotrauma in ServerExecutable and host a server While hosting, open the console window (most commonly 'F3') Type in or copy, then execute the console command: install_cl_lua Restart the game
