The hit TV show/movie/comic series, now in Barotrauma!

Stargates are teleportation devices, that using a dialing system similar to a telephone, can connect to any other stargate on the map; even if its on an enemy submarine, or in an alien ruin!

Includes a demo sub, 'Berilia with Stargate' Stargates may spawn in ruins

Instructions

Stargates are automatically assigned a 4 chevron (+ poi, which is always TAURI) address. You can also manually set an address in the sub editor. In the stargate's properties, under the signal check component, the output field stores the gate address. You can find the list of all glyphs in the lua file. Remember, the POI glyph TAURI does not have a dash at the end!

Questions

Why 5 glyphs? In the heat of the game, seven is way to much. If you don't like it, you can change it in the lua file. Why SG-1 theme instead of Atlantis? I originally planned to have a variety of themes. Implementing SG-1 took enough energy. How to find other stargates? Use the Gate finder or Handheld gate finder. Dialing computers? See the included sub 'Berilia with Stargate for an example of a rudimentary dialing computer. Iris'? Put a door in front of the stargate. Works just like it!

Known Issues

• Users can change stargate addresses with a screwdriver

• Items going through a receiving stargate don't get vaporized (fix in development)

• Sometimes the shutoff sound plays twice

• Zat'nik'tal and Naqadriah fuel rod have broken names in sub editor (game engine bug?)

• Stargate addresses sometimes repeat glyphs (fix in development)

• Stargates spawned using 'spawnitem' don't work

• Hitscan bullets won't go through stargate (won't fix)

• Minor visual issues with the PDW
