Crook

This mod adds a new monster based on an official barotrauma concept art of an unnamed creature that was never brought into the game

This modded rendition of it, called the "Crook", is a neutral scavenger that infiltrates submarines.

After entering a submarine, it will walk around looking for anything that it can eat. Players can feed it corpses of dead characters or pet food to satiate it and make it go away, making it leave behind a new modded material as a reward, "Crook Fur", that can be used to craft an unique item, "Crook Cape", which a player can wear (by using it like a medical item on themselves) to increase the amount of marks they get from all the missions they complete for some time.

If left unfed for too long or attacked, the Crook will become aggressive. Players can choose to either kill it like they would any other monster, with only a small chance of looting Crook Fur from its inventory, or try feed it for a guaranteed reward- Or anything inbetween depending on the situation currently taking place when it decides to show up.
