Описание автора

** T3 Attack 32,000 MK **

Greetings, customer. In compliance with standard operating procedures, a dossier containing information about your purchase of the "MsKL-002 Perun" has been produced -- however, with the scale of the ship, only a limited number of rooms have been elaborated on. Buttons, switches, and levers with nonstandard operations have been labeled to the best of our abilities, but most technical systems are included in this document. We thank you for your purchase.

The line of Morskoy-Levie-class Attack ships serve as the class-successor to the Rosomakha-class Attack ships, serving their purpose as a forerunner to civilization efforts and a heavy patrol craft. Though not as heavily armed as vessels like the Typhon 2, MsKL-class vessels supplement limited arcs with very powerful discharge coils, able to soundly handle hordes of smaller, agile targets like crawlers and mudraptors. It also sports two reactors and a modular grid system, allowing intimate control of power throughout the submarine.

The MsKL also possesses a Vydra-class Excursion Shuttle, a class of long-range independent craft meant to deliver divers to objectives out of reach of the MsKL -- using a moonpool for exit, which may backflow if the shuttle is compromised. A long-range communication and remote-control system allows for excursions to keep communication within 600 meters and for more qualified personnel to handle control of the shuttle (or to allow for remote recovery). Two ports are available for docking the Vydra -- one on the top to allow disembarkment and to allow the Vydra's pulse laser to assist defending the top of the sub, and one on the bottom to charge the Vydra and allow the mothership to leverage its depth charge launcher (with wiring or communication with the reloader left in it). Notably, the Vydra is equipped with a mineral scanner, allowing it to spot minerals for the MsKL.

This particular example of the class, entitled "Perun" by its crew after an old Earth god of thunder, is older than the submariners likely to serve upon it; decommissioned due to age and auctioned off to the highest bidder. The diligent efforts to restore it to working condition by Dusk Shipyards have left it comparable to modern ships, though it finds kin in the Humpback still. Notably, the systems around the heavy discharge coils could not be fully repaired due to shortages in necessary material during the time of its refurbishment. The supercapacitors powering the coils are the center of the containment of the awesome current, and should their charge/condition drop too low, the current may lash out in the interior -- potentially shocking crew, or causing a damaging EMP pulse and cause a fire.

** Command **

  • The former captain was an avid adventurer and hunter of beasts, blind to the concerns of the crew beneath him. After all, it was Security's concern, and they were the best the Coalition could supply. *

** Pink: ** A periscope connected to three searchlights, one on the top of the hull and two on either side of the bottom. The button cycles through the searchlights in a counter-clockwise fashion.

** Red: ** The toggle between which discharge coil will be activated by the terminal. The coverage, due to its advanced age (OOC note: Barotrauma jank) is nonstandard, and specified below.

** Orange: ** The toggle between the two transducers on the ship. Due to its length, the Perun has one at the very front (Bow) and the very back (Stern).

** Blue: ** The captain's "secret" safe, which contains a briefcase with spare IDs. Brown = Security, Yellow = Engineer, and Blue = Captain. Administer wisely. Watch closely.

  • Strictly speaking, the indicators next to the button aren't wrong. They just aren't centered at the ship's center. *

** Reactor Control **

  • The Perun is truly a god of thunder -- or, perhaps, electricity in general. Unfortunately, most crews will leave the grid in its default state. *

** Pink: ** The grid control panel. Pressing the button for a room/system toggles it between reactors -- meaning that you can't deliberately leave a room unpowered without shutting down the associated reactor.

** Red: ** The annexation controls. The switch controls if the opposing reactor is shut down, the lever controls which reactor is taking over the grid, and the button causes the annexation. ** Be warned that an individual reactor may not have the production capacity to support the whole grid for long, especially if the engines are running. **

** Orange: ** Battery output control. If the light is on, the battery output is off.

** Shuttle Command **

  • Being the shuttle commander gives a unique position on the ship. It's almost being the second captain, except your only underlings are the divers that board the shuttle. It's not an envyable position. *

** Pink: ** Launch authorization. Only those with captain or security IDs can press it -- it also serves as docking authorization. 600 meter range.

** Red: ** Remote control activation. Doesn't necessarily revoke controls from the navigation terminal in the shuttle, but such shouldn't be an issue in most circumstances that remote control would be used. 600 meter range -- note that remote control may not be as agile as control from the shuttle's own terminal.

** Orange: ** Long-range communication terminal with a message indication light (with command having the exclusive right to ignore messages). Connects to a sensitive system, thus the locking of wires. 600 meter range.

** Blue: ** A secondary secure arms cabinet. Typically locked behind the same IDs as the one in security, but unlocked in the included "LESS ID LOCK" configuration.

** Gunnery **

  • Here sits the Perun's roar. Crews have complained about sparing storage relative to the number of active guns. *

** Pink: ** Automation toggle levers. The Perun features keen automated weapons systems with sparing amounts of personality, demonstrated in the "twitches" of the guns while automated. The blue light indicates automation being online.

** Red: ** Pneumatic ammunition transport system. The buttons next to the hatches allow communication between gunnery and engineering about fresh/spent ammo. An active light next to OUT means a blinking one is on next to IN in engineering (and thus means the system has ammo in need of reloading), and vice-versa.

** Security **

  • "They came during the night shifts. They were the Coalition's best, both as soldiers and political officers. The casualty reports in the ship's history are low, because they don't count the death of the ego. Of the mind and all its thoughts and desires. Separatists boarded, and unthinking machines of men left." - [NAME REDACTED by DUSK SHIPYARDS] *

** Pink: ** Buttons which zap the associated rooms. The low-power coils maintain the stun of their mid-power brothers, but cause significantly less harm to the body. The green light indicates the presence of people (crew or enemy) and the red light indicates monsters.

** Red: ** A surveillance center wired to a limited number of cameras, for observing parts of the ship. There's space for more cameras if you have the appropriate equipment.

** Orange: ** A separate shock button for the detainment cell.

** Blue: ** The supercapacitors that power the low-power coils. They have a limited capacity, but officers who know when to leverage them should not fear running out.

Included is the Vydra (AD) T1 Scout for 1,500 Mks.
