Different weapons have different mobility characteristics.

Assault rifles offer better burst accuracy. SMGs have the best mobility and spread advantage. Carbines fall somewhere in between. Sniper rifles are extremely accurate when stationary, but less so when moving. Shotguns excel in close combat but require more ammo against armored targets. Machine guns can quickly apply shell shock to support teammates' assault, but their mobility is significantly worse than other weapons.

Shell Shock: One of the mod's core mechanics. Shell shock blurs the player's vision, reduces AI firing speed and accuracy, and lowers their damage resistance.

Take a breath. Everything will be fine. SMGs and machine guns can inflict large amounts of shell shock within their effective ranges, making them especially effective in close-range assaults and suppression roles. Shell shock can also combo with minor skills or battlefield upgrades to create interesting builds.

Battlefield Upgrades: Another signature mechanic tied to shell shock. (Only the Assault upgrade has been implemented so far.)

Sustained fire causes significant accuracy penalties — try using more stable weapons.

Multi-dimensional balance: A weapon may lack DPS, but its recoil and spread performance may make it more stable overall.

Short Burst Fire: This technique allows you to maintain accuracy with minimal loss of fire rate. However, the first shot of each burst carries a first-shot recoil penalty multiplier depending on the weapon's stats. Choosing your weapon and firing technique wisely based on its characteristics is important.

Choose between long sustained fire for recoil control or short bursts for accuracy — the decision is yours.

Your rifle not behaving? Customize your gun — control its recoil jump, stabilize its random spread, increase DPS at various ranges — make it fit your combat style.

Unique reload animations for every weapon, some even feature tactical reloads!

When fighting alongside friends, remember to press Q to mark targets and distinguish friend from foe!

Use various equipment to assist your combat — mark monsters in the dark.

Protect yourself with armor plates against the bandits and creatures under the ice ocean.

Explore Europa's icy seas to obtain weapon crafting components.

Encounter friends and enemies and earn faction medals!

Use medals, components, and blueprints scavenged from Europa to acquire more powerful weapons.

And finally, remember: The Heart of Europa awaits.
