I've always thought crawlers kind of suck. How are they so weak, so un-hydrodynamic, and yet so common? This mod makes it """""realistic""""" by bringing back the Legacy Crawlers to replace normal Crawlers. Stats-wise, they're as close to the current Crawlers as possible, as I'm not trying to harm balance.
Can't figure out how to add husk tendrils without ragdolls imploding, so sadly you'll just have to live with my terrible texturing. Enjoy!
UPDATE 16/06/2026 - Added cross-compatibility with the Enhanced Husks mod. Ensure this mod is placed above EH in your load list in order to see the proper models. As a side-effect of this, huskified broodmothers and hatchlings are now possible, however, I did nothing to make them spawn in, so they should only appear if EH is enabled, or otherwise, if an incredible stroke of luck resulted in a broodmother or hatchling turning mid-round.
