One of the finest scout vessels operating in the Great Sea, Palaemon is the pride of the Coalition of Europa. It features a unique enemy detection system, a resilient double-hull design and a blackout switch. Despite the electrical grid being reliable, this ship requires extensive maintenance between missions, moreso than other scout vessels.

This ship deserves its steep price, it's a beast in the right hands. Great top speed, a very resilient double hull design, 3 large hardpoints: it's everything one could wish for on a strong lategame sub. It's probably a little too strong for vanilla (though it has its obvious issues, like large spinelings, its hull repair costs or its inability to pass through small gaps) but is absolutely great for modded campaigns. Having finished a campaign with it I can confirm that the Palaemon is a very confortable vessel to operate, no matter the mission, and it was a really pleasant ship to design!
