This just used to be a couple of thousand of the top names of different countries. But that ended up with a lot of variations of the same name and skewed the names to countries with easily accessible statistics like Iceland and the Netherlands which was just weird and unimmersive and I hated it.
This new list is completely remade from scratch, about 1300 names per gender and 1300 surnames, painstakingly put together to get a diverse and realistic mix of names that could have been passed down from the original immigrants to Europa. I hope you'll like this new, lovingly crafted and infinitely more immersive version!
This is for vanilla; it won't be compatible with other mods that change Human.xml.
