Описание автора
There are submarines that cross the sea…
and then there are submarines that belong to it.
Named after the doomed heroine of Edgar Allan Poe's tale and rooted in ancient Greek mythology, Ligeia was said to lure sailors into the depths with a voice as haunting as the abyss itself. At the bow of this vessel stands her likeness: a siren carved in cold metal, silently guiding her crew deeper into Europa's waters.
Some sailors swear they've heard a faint singing through the hull during long descents, as if the statue itself were humming to the ocean. Others claim that her eyes glow a deep crimson moments before an attack, and once, a captain even claimed to have seen lightning strike a crawler who dared to get close to the statue. Most chalk it up to nerves and superstition... yet to this day, the rumors persist.
Built for crews who value precision, control, and a touch of the macabre, the LIGEIA-1838 may be small, but she remains fully capable of taking on the most demanding of missions. Five conveniently placed diving suits and secure seating, along with a fully equipped medical bay, ensure the crew's safety onboard, whilst the hull - reinforced to 150 hp with additional armor along the top and hardened glass windows stand firm against claws and pressure alike, offering a clear view into the void without compromise.
Every system aboard is neatly wired, with each feature isolated into its own dedicated circuit box. For a closer look at the vessel's internal layout and unique features, be sure to check out the images - and if you enjoy the craft and care put into this submarine, consider giving it a thumbs up.
May she guide you safely through the abyss... and her song never lead you astray.

2 coilguns operated from the gunnery compartment
-
2 railguns controlled from the captain’s seat
-
Depth charge launcher (bridge & engine room)
-
Bridge-controlled discharge coil

Turret switch system allowing the security officer to choose whether to operate the railguns or coilguns
>> Features & Subsystems <<
SR-7 Combat Drone
-
Bridge-controlled drone equipped with a chaingun (switch mode with double-click)

Extinguishes all non-essential lighting, including external searchlights and turrets
-
Shuts down the reactor and reduces engine noise to a near-silent whisper
-
Automatically switches to battery array
Tip: Switch off junction box 3 when in stealth mode and set the supercapacitor charge-rate to 0
Immersive Lighting

Lights start flickering when a room is fully underwater
Self-Destruction System
-
Activate by pressing the button above the railgun loader quickly 3 times
-
Triggers reactor lockdown and after ~2 minutes a meltdown (requires 2+ rods)
-
Emergency lights flash to warn crew of impending doom
CCTV Default control resides in the engine room, but authority can be transferred to the bridge, slaving the railgun controls to the engine room periscope.
- Cycle between multiple cameras with left-click
