Barsuk MK2V1 Navy Retrofit

As Europa became increasingly dangerous, the original Barsuk began showing its age. While still valued for its reliability and straightforward design, many crews found themselves needing additional storage, improved equipment access, and greater combat capability to meet modern operational demands.

The Navy Retrofit program was developed to address these shortcomings while preserving the qualities that made the Barsuk a trusted workhorse. The hull was stretched to create more usable space, power generation capacity was increased, and internal systems were reorganized to improve efficiency and crew comfort. Additional weapons and equipment were also integrated to better prepare the vessel for hostile encounters.

The result is a familiar submarine with improved performance, increased utility, and enhanced combat effectiveness, all while remaining affordable, easy to maintain, and accessible to newer crews.
