The Borealis DDT-40 is a heavy transport submarine designed to move large amounts of cargo through the dangerous oceans of Europa. Built for industrial operations and long-haul logistics, it combines massive storage capacity with the systems needed to support extended deployments.

Powering the vessel is the experimental MEGA THRUSTER 9000, a high-output propulsion system capable of pushing the DDT-40 to speeds uncommon for a submarine of its size. The engine can be pushed even further through an Engine Overcharge mode, providing a significant speed boost at the cost of heavy power consumption. Keeping the engine running efficiently requires constant maintenance, making the Borealis best suited for experienced crews.

With a large cargo bay, spacious crew facilities, onboard communications, security cameras, and a small research lab, the DDT-40 serves as a capable mobile logistics platform for almost any industrial operation.
